Croatia, Land land of my fathers
The visit at my grandparents’ house, who managed a little farm near Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, is something that I shall never forget.
It was from there that my parents began various types of excursions with me to the national parks like Plitvice lakes. It is better known as the primary location of Karl May’s classic “Treasure of the Silver Lake”. My heart starts to beat just a bit faster when I know that a trip to Croatia is near. This is especially true for the dalmatic coast with its crystal-clear water, its diverse landscape, its flora and fauna as well as the agreeable climate which are second to none.
